Commissioning Guide

injection molding machine cost

Injection molding machine cost is comparable only after energy and acceptable parts are measured at the same boundary, and after machine, delivery and site items are listed as included or extra. This Commissioning Guide is a procurement dossier, not an engineering certificate. Injection Molding Machine Sourcing does not publish a percentage saving and does not treat a machine-only figure as the installed project cost. Resolve the measurement boundary and the vertical insert check before selecting a supplier quotation.

Decision dossier

Approval record

Approval record: Sample run

Record resin, shot weight with runner, mold stack height, opening stroke and the injection unit the factory selected. Run overlapping clamp, inject, hold, cool and eject steps. Write the energy meter boundary: press only, or press plus dryer, chiller and robot. Count acceptable parts across the same operating sequence. A dry-cycle brochure time is not an approval record. If inserts are used, attach the location and verification step to this sample-run note.

Site readiness

List footprint, three-phase supply, cooling water GPM/psi, compressed air demand and PLC interface names. Mark foundations, lifting, installation, training and spare parts as included or extra. Destination and quantity belong here so freight is not treated as a surprise. If the cell will replace an existing press, write current pit, robot rail and utility stubs instead of assuming a greenfield pad.
